What is the rsd-analyzer.cz and how does it work?
RSD Analyzer is a tool for analysing time savings on planned sections of Czech motorways. It compares current journey times with future ones after construction completion, and visualises where drivers will save the most time. Data comes from the Road and Motorway Administration (ŘSD.cz) and Wikipedia; calculations use the OSRM routing API.
We analyse 74 planned sections on 17 motorways in the Czech Republic -
in total approximately 522 km of new motorway network, which upon completion will bring a total saving of over 3 hours' driving time on the monitored routes.

Most frequently asked questions about planned motorways in the Czech Republic
How many kilometres of new motorways are planned in the Czech Republic?
ŘSD Analyzer monitors 74 planned sections with a total length of approximately 522 km across 17 motorways. These are sections in the preparation, building permit or active construction phase as of data from February 2026. The complete motorway network development plan is available on ŘSD.cz and the Ministry of Transport portal.
Which planned motorway section will bring the greatest time savings?
The greatest time saving comes from the section D11 S24 between Hradec Králové and Jaroměř - upon completion, drivers will save 11.5 minutes compared to the current route. The second largest saving is offered by section D11 1108 (6.9 min) and the third by D35 M7 Mohelnice-Moravská Třebová (6.4 min).
What is the current status of the D35 motorway construction?
The D35 motorway (Hradec Králové - Olomouc) is one of the priority projects for ŘSD. The key monitored section M7 Mohelnice - Moravská Třebová will save 6.4 minutes upon completion. The D35 is intended to relieve long-term congestion on the D1 and shorten connections between north-eastern Bohemia and Moravia.
The current status of individual construction projects can be found in the interactive ŘSD Analyzer map at rsd-analyzer.cz.
How are time savings calculated in the RSD Analyzer?
The calculations are based on an open-source routing API. OSRM (Open Source Routing Machine). For each planned section, the system compares the fastest current route with a simulated route via the completed section. The difference in travel time is the resulting saving. Data on planned sections are sourced from Wikipedia and ŘSD.cz.
Where can I find an interactive map of planned motorways in the Czech Republic?
An interactive map of all 74 planned motorway sections is available free of charge at rsd-analyzer.cz

When will the D11 motorway to Poland be completed?
The D11 motorway (Prague - Hradec Králové - Polish state border) is being built in stages. Rsd-analyzer.cz monitors sections S24 (Hradec Králové - Jaroměř, saving 11.5 min), 1108 (6.9 min) and 1109/II (6.3 min). Precise completion dates for individual construction projects are regularly updated by ŘSD.cz in the section "Projects in preparation and implementation".
